These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between users ("you") and the operator of AllLang (the "Service"). By using the Service, you are considered to have agreed to these Terms.
1. About the Service
AllLang is a mobile application for learning foreign languages through real-time conversation with an AI voice tutor. It provides voice calls, text corrections, vocabulary learning, roleplay scenarios, and related features.
2. Accounts
- Using the Service requires registering an account via Kakao, Apple, or Google social login, or via email.
- You are responsible for keeping your account information secure, and may not transfer or lend your account to anyone else.
- The Service may not be used by anyone under the age of 14.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
- Paid subscriptions can be purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or the AllLang website.
- Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are governed by that store's payment terms, and refunds are handled under that store's refund policy. The Service operator does not directly process refunds for store purchases.
- Purchases made through the website are processed by our payment partner, Paddle.com Market Ltd., as the Merchant of Record, and refunds and cancellations follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. To cancel, do so at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, through the same channel (store or website) you subscribed with.
- Where a free trial is offered, it converts automatically into a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You may not do any of the following:
- Enter content that infringes another person's rights (personal data, copyright, etc.) or defames them
- Bypass the Service's security or access/manipulate it through abnormal means
- Copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part or the whole of the Service without authorization
- Use AI responses to generate or spread illegal or harmful content
- Access the Service using automated means (bots, crawlers, etc.)
Violating any of the above may result in your account being suspended or deleted without prior notice.
5. About AI Responses
AllLang's corrections, translations, and roleplay responses are generated by AI language models. AI is not perfect and may produce inaccurate or inappropriate responses. You should treat AI responses as a learning aid, and should not rely on them as the basis for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions.
6. Intellectual Property
- All software, design, content (tutor illustrations, scenarios, etc.), and trademarks included in the Service belong to the operator.
- You retain copyright in the learning content you create (saved sentences, words, etc.). You are deemed to consent to its use and storage to the extent necessary to operate the Service.
7. Changes to and Suspension of the Service
The operator may change, add to, or discontinue part or all of the Service, and will give advance notice of material changes. The Service may be temporarily suspended due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, technical failures, or outages of third-party services (app stores, cloud infrastructure, etc.).
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for:
- Damages arising from inaccuracies in AI responses
- Damages caused by your violation of these Terms
- Service interruptions caused by third-party service outages
- The outcome of decisions you make in reliance on the Service
9. Changes to These Terms
The operator may amend these Terms as needed, announcing the effective date and reason for the change via an in-app notice or this page at least 7 days in advance (30 days for changes unfavorable to users).
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes relating to these Terms or the Service are subject to the court of first-instance jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
